Shaikh Yaseen was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, to Pakistani parents. Upon completing his degree in business & marketing, he decided to travel afar to namely Jaamia tul Uloom Al Islamiyah (Canada) & Durul Uloom Zakariyyah (South Africa) to further his education in the Islamic sciences earning him authorizations (ijazāt) in several Islamic sciences, specializing in Quranic sciences such as tajwīd and tafseer (Quranic exegesis).
